From: Jim on 1 Jun 2010 03:49 Took the iPad into work with me today (yes, a certain amount of showing off is on the cards) and rememebred that I hadn't put any money on the microSIM for data. Thought I'd just stick a day's worth on (2 quid) but you need to know what the sim's number is, and I don't this the greyed-out number it displays is it (I think it's a generic placeholder).
