From: Sak Wathanasin on 22 Jun 2010 04:27 Anyone else having problems? It did the OS update OK, then on the restore it failed part way with an "error -34". Now it claims my iPhone "is synced with another iTunes library" and do I want to erase my iPhone and resync. Any ideas?

Yes, same issue here last night, in the end I restored the phone, and synced it as a new phone. I also ended up with about 2GB of other filling half the phone at one point, and letting iTunes automatically delete some music to allow it to be filled seemed to cure it. Downside is of course now lost all prev app data, so having to reset everything, and if I can be arsed, redo some games -- Jon B Above email address IS valid. <http://www.bramley-computers.co.uk/> Apple Laptop Repairs.

This, with the various failed restores, etc, has taken 10 hours thus far. And for not a lot of benefit, on a 3G. Not fantasticaly enthused with all this. -- flavio matani guitar tuition http://www.flaviomatani.co.uk http://fflavio.com

I was then able to continue with yesterday's backup, followed by it restoring applications, albeit once the iPhone thought this had finally finished iTunes went AWOL. On relaunching iTunes it then wanted to do a carrier update. Then the synchronisation copied stuff like photos back. All now appears OK, albeit a scan that I did in JotNot this morning is gone. And the passcode had gone AWOL. But for a change the O2 PAYG APN settings didn't need correcting... Kind regards, Dave |
