Yeah, I noticed that in the product description (well, "This accessory is not
made to work with iPhone"). It said if that came up to clean the dock
connector, but I doubt that has anything to do with it. I've noticed other
3rd party accessories having the same error message - just a case of
disconnecting/reconnecting as far as I understood. Not had it happen here yet
though.

Very well.

Gets me around 2 charges - you can leave it fitted if you really want
to, as the mini-USB connector acts as a dock pass-through.
