irfanview 4.25 thumbnails question

Use the shortcut to bring up the settings window by pressing "P" on your keyboard. When the "Properties/Settings" window opens, select the "Misc. 1" tab. Then check the box for "View all files in the directory." Then click the "OK" button and you are finished and should be able to view thumbnails for all files in the chosen folder. -- jimbok

Either we have different versions or something. When I open irfanview 4.25 or irfanview 4.25 thumbnails and hit P it brings up the "Properties/Settings" window but there is no "Misc. 1" tab. There is a "Miscellaneous" in a pane on the left that when highlighted brings up "Miscellaneous" in right pane about opening slideshow, opening batch dialog or showing recent directories. Agin I am using irfanview 4.25 on Windows XP. Not sure what you all are using. I am about to give up here!!

For 4.25 press "P" to get the "Properties/Settings" menu, then select "Browsing/Editing." Then check the box for "View all files in directory." That should solve your problem. If that box is already checked and it still doesn't work, you'll have reinstall Irfanview. The "View all files" box is normally check, by default. -- jimbok |
