Personally I would think that if he wanted other users to understand his question that he would have provided examples of the types of analog modems he was asking about. Those acronyms have multiple meanings. I can guess at which ones might be associated with analog modems but that tells me about a group related to specifications or a manufacturer's name but that says nothing about what protocols or specifications might differentiate them. |
