From: Timothy Mathews on 7 May 2010 11:31 Having an iMac, MacBook Pro and iPhone, I setup Mobile Me to keep my calendar and contacts updated and while the calendar works flawlessly, I'm a bit stymied by the contacts. I happened to look on my iPhone for a contact last night and notices the listings for contacts and contacts on mobile me. I assumed this meant that the iPhone was setup automatically to maintain two separate sets of contacts. Anyway, going into the Mobile Me listing, I noticed a listing--let's say Smith--six or seven times. I was going to delete the extras but thought it might be better to wait till I got back home and do the fix on the actual Mobile Me site. I logged on, opened contacts and not only is Smith not there multiple times, he's not there at all. I thought, perhaps, Mobile Me was accessing a different address book but see no other contact list/address book listed on the Mobile Me site. So, the question is, if Mobile Me is what I'm using to sync, how can there be a contact on my laptop contacts, my iMac contacts and my iPhone contacts but not on Mobile Me? Have I missed something on the initial setup or, perhaps, might I have done something since to cause this to happen and, if so is there a resolution so that Mobile Me will be syncing the correct contacts? Thanks.. BTW, I looked for a Mobile Me specific newsgroup and didn't find anything...if there's a more appropirate group for this, please let me know.

Apple has forums for almost every thing they produce, there is a MobileMe forum at: <http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=116> You might get quicker responses there.

You'll at least be able to find like-minded folks, the confused, the obsessed, the irritated, the ignorant.
