Okay - probably worth the try...
I am still not 100 % convinced that Time Machine really is the problem,
since the trouble also apeared before I bought the Time Capsule (when
Time Machine wasn't configured - the MacBook is still relatively
new...). But I'll try that for the moment...

I'll keep You updated as soon as I have new results (in a few days or

If you turn off a bunch of stuff and the problem goes away, you know it
was one of the things you turned off. So do keep track of each thing you
turn off...
