From: PG on 24 Feb 2010 00:36 Hello Juile, or someone else. Julie, you helped me on another password question by guiding me how to password protect a file. "File > Save As, click the Tools button (next to the Save button in Project 2007), General options" If i do this and save as the SAME FILE NAME to replace the existing file, an error code 0x8c04001b comes up, and wont save,. As a work around, i save the file as a different name,,,eg FINANCE2. then i change the original file (called FINANCE) to say FINANCE3, and then change my new password protected FINANCE2 file back to FINANCE. Its important i use the same file name as it's inserted in a master project file, and has interdependancies with other files. My Question...do you think this is OK to do this way?? do you think its OK to do the same for my master project file, which is linked to 25 other projects?? i'm being cautious due to all its links with other projects. hope this makes sense.
