qooxlisp now has an intense demo app which includes a datagrid pulling
rows incrementally from the server, in the form of a web recreation of
the AllegroCL apropos dialog. Screenshots of that dialog and the
qooxlisp web version (in modern and classic qooxdoo "theme") are here:

Install notes have now been tested but only by me, so ask for help as
soon as anything goes wrong:

http://github.com/kennytilton/qooxlisp/blob/master/INSTALL.txt

Final words: qooxdoo is about the best software I have had the pleasure
to work with.

btw, if someone manages to get the apropos example going please let me
know. I am holding off inviting qooxdoo and javascript people until I
know the install directions are adequate (and I figure a smart lisper
will have an easier time than others).

A bit quirky but doable ;-)

Hm, if business didn't dictate otherwise I'd be coding already with
qooxlisp. Have to wait for maybe another 3 to 4 weeks but then,
definitely, I will be doing an attempt at producing a real business app
with it! This will then be based on another fine piece of software:
Hunchentoot.

Thanks much, Kenny, for marrying Cells with Qooxdoo.

Cheers
Frank

great. qxl should be a lot further along by then, tho with much work
remaining only because qooxdoo is so huge.

I had good luck with Hunch but aserve is the path of least resistance.

That looks good, Kenny. Believe it or not those screenshots make me
want to try it out (in fact, I will!).
