From: Candace on 3 Dec 2009 12:50 We are using Exchange Server 2007 with Outlook 2007 clients. I have several email addresses listed under my mail account on the Exchange Server for which I "receive" email. However, the server will not allow me to "send" email using any of these email addresses - as it only allows me to send using the primary address for my email account. I get a message saying "You are not allowed to send this message ... on behalf of another sender without permission to do so." What settings do I need to change on the Exchange Server so that it allows Outlook 2007 clients to send as any email address that is listed on the "Email Addresses" tab of my mailbox's properties?

This is just the way it works, unfortunately. Here are the best options I know.. 1) See ChooseFrom at www.ivasoft.biz 2) Remove the alias address(es) from your mailbox and assign them to DLs ....give yourself Send As rights and make your real mailbox the sole member. Then use the From field to send mail from that address. You will also have the advantage of seeing to whom a message was actually addressed - with your current setup, it will all resolve to your display name and you'd have to look in the internet headers to see who they were sending to.
