Hi.

Over the last couple of weeks, the daily logwatch email msg has been
swamped by entries in the sendmail section.

Today, there were 825 msgs in the **Unmatched Entries** subsection of
the sendmail section. Here are the last few that appeared:

13: fl=0x802, mode=140777: SOCK dsm.dsm.fordham.edu/44628->(Transport endoint is not connected): 1 Time(s)
13: fl=0x802, mode=140777: SOCK dsm.dsm.fordham.edu/35181->(Transport endpoint is not connected): 1 Time(s)
12: fl=0x802, mode=140777: SOCK dsm.dsm.fordham.edu/47743->(Transport endpoint is not connected): 1 Time(s)

With only one exception, the "host=" lines all mention yahoo; that
exception was
3: fl=0x2, mode=140777: SOCK localhost->[[UNIX: /dev/log]]: 258 Time(s)
In addition, the SEVERE ERRORS subsection in the sendmail section,
mentioned numerouse errors associated with yahoo:

Any idea what's going on here, and how to fix the problem that's causing
these msgs?

I have no idea, but the first step I do is to make sure I am
running the most recent version of sendmail.
