I have an older GPS and the screen was flickering. So I opened it up
and determined the problem to be a partially lit backlight bulb in the
LCD monitior. Its a sharp 5 inch model LQ5RB43. Does anyone know if
it is possible to replace the backlight bulb for this model? I assume
it is shot because it only lights up one of the 4-6 tubes. Thanks.

Screen assembly may include backlight and ballast as an assembly.
