I think you need something like FIVE CDs or one DVD to do a full
installation of Solaris. DVD is the obvious choice if you have, or can
install a DVD drive.

With DVD an installation takes very little of YOUR time. With CDs, you
must change CDs several times during the installation. A DVD drive is a
very worthwhile investment if you need to install or reinstall very
often. A jumpstart server is an alternative.
