From: ga on 20 Jul 2010 19:42 I've been using eudora for years. Was at 5.1 or 5.2 but decided to upgrade to 7.1. I have spam filtered email so saw no reason to purchase "paid" mode again, am running in sponsored. Since advertisers have been removed, am wondering if there is a way to close the "Eudora" window. I guess it doesn't hurt anything other than it takes room and stays on top. Since Eudora no longer uses advertisers, I'm wondering if there is a work around in the registry or in the ini file that would simply eliminate the "eudora logo" window? Thanks, ga ga nospam(a)nospam.fmctc.com

All sales (and advertising) ended in April 2007, so there is no more "purchasing" -- Eudora has ever since been entirely free. > Since advertisers have been removed, > am wondering if there is a way to close the "Eudora" [ad] window. Right-click within "ad" window, un-check "Allow docking." Click as high as possible within colored "title bar" of "ad" window, then drag as far downward as possible -- the "ad" window usually then disappears behind most people's "Windows Taskbar." A slight re-drag (a half-second task) may be warranted on new launches of Eudora. See also: http://groups.google.com/group/comp.mail.eudora.ms-windows/msg/e099e7a7092b6811 --
