From: jinxy on 27 Feb 2010 11:59 Hello, I have a question regarding a usb flash drive. I have a small game program on it, which opens and will install on my laptop, yet when I try to do the same on the desktop pc I keep getting a program not resopnding message. Is this the drive or something to do with the pc? I have formatted the usb drive and put the program back on it, but same results. Any help would be great. TIA -J

Can you copy any files from your PC to and from the USB drive? Copying files is about the only thing the flash drive is expected to do. Which program is "not responding"?

No programs will respond. Yes I am able to copy files from the PC to the USB drive. The message says" there may be a problem with your hardware or network connections", Maybe I should uninstall the USB and reboot for Windows to reinstall? What would the network connections have to do with it? Still seaching for a solution. -J

Copy the game installation file to your PC and install the game from there. > Maybe I should uninstall the USB I do not know what that means. > and reboot for Windows to reinstall? When I try to run it from the USB drive or copy it to the desktop it doesn't respond. Already running XP. I will figure it out 2nite. -J |
