I didn't met to replace CD or download version. Just one more option for

Wunna,
Please remember that we need to keep the option of CD open for countries with less developed infrastructure (broadband adoption)...

In principle, this is a very good idea. We definitely need a web version
of OOo and this seems a step in the right direction. Snag is getting
someone to do it.

How is this different from the current online versions of OOo?

It won't be for remote desktop.

Things like google doc, web office from Ulteo depends on connection. I
didn't mean for it.

My idea is to replace Downloading. When the we publish new versions, the
users will no longer need to download. We will put it in sync folder and the
user can start using it. It will save the users from installing it and we
from crushing the server (as we faced during 3.1 publish).

I am now testing it among my friends. I will let you guys know the result in
near future.

Regards,

Wunna
