i need to install a bbs system on the slack which require a zmodem in
the host. does slackware 11.0 come with zmodem capability? if no,
what's the best installation package?

Sure. Look at rz (receive) and sz (send).

A bbs? Do they still have those? Is there a linux version
available? Will it be off or on the internet? A true bbs is off
the internet, with a modem connection for users.
