word 2k doc opens in "foreign language"on Win 7 computer

From: mfisher41 on 26 Mar 2010 11:36 i have a document created in word 2k that opens fine in word 7 on a computer using XP. on a computer using Win 7 it opens in what looks like a foreign language or boxers even if i copy the file to a usb and open it help
