Hi.

I'm trying to use xpc target 3.4 for a PC104 board. The board has a R6040 ethernet chip. By trial and errors, I found out that selecting the SMC91C9X driver (ISA-bus, TC/IP connection), the boot floppy is correctly installed on the PC104 (no error message displayed on the target). However, when I try to connect the host to the target via UTP cable, the connection fails (error 7: ConnectError), even if the led light near the UTP plugs (at host and target) is on, showing that there is "some activity".

I used the xpc target for desktop targets PC in the past, and I had no problems.

Is there some specific issue when using PC104? Where am I wrong?

Marco,

I strongly suggest you contact tech support about this. That will
get the correct person to help you. I'm not the Ethernet expert
in the group.

We'll need a lot more information about your setup to figure out
what's wrong.
