Yeah? I didn't see either of you twits in the usenet Kook of the Year
finals, either, although you both deserve to be.

Does it matter? The bottom line is that there was a major Linux conference
held right at his university and he was too stupid/lazy/ignorant/selfish to
get involved in any way, shape or form.

A little bird told me he lives in a seedy, squalid apartment near
the campus and down the street from the gym he attends.

Doesn't really matter though.
The guy is a leech.

Indeed.

As Marti said, the fact that Miguel de Icaza (an MVP) subscribed to the COLA
group a couple of months ago and became "friends" with "Hadron", speaks
volumes. And anyone who actually advocates Linux, is derided & denigrated by
the Hadron troll. He also twists, warps & lies about what was *actually* said
by the Linux advocate, to suit his agenda.

The funny part is (IMO) that although "Hadron" tries *desperately* to claim
he's a Linux user & likes the OS, he's made so many gaffes about the OS
(& that's apart from denigrating Linux & promoting M$ at *every* opportunity)
that it's clear to many that he's no fan of Linux & some doubt he even uses
it. The date when the troll supposedly started using Linux also varies!
(In a post in 2007 he claims to have started using Linux in 2005, but he
didn't started posting to *any* linux groups until 2006 & even then said he
was having all kinds of problems installing Ubuntu!).

Later, followed posts to the emacs group (Nov 2006), then Quack harrassed the
SuSE group with his inane drivel. Much later he appeared on the Ubuntu group
*again*, with reports of how installing rather simple things failed for him.

He whined & complained about Linux in the Ubuntu group *so* much, that a
challenge was issued for him to make his own distro, & show how it should be
done. The troll ignored it, & eventually many binned him.

Getting high performance Video cards working is a damn sight
easier on XP because the installers are better.
Debian/Ubuntu are a pain in the hole - you need to recompile the latest
NVidia drivers using a set version of the compiler, for example, when
changing kernels.
