From: Nicola Mingotti on 30 May 2010 09:35 Helo, I'm trying to open pdf documents that require authentication in OSX 10.6.3 with AcrobatReader 9.3.2 . It doesn't work ! Adobe R. It tells me : "the computer must be connected to the network in order to open this document" Of course the computer is connected to the network ! I tried to open the same document under A.R. in Windows in a Parallels virtual machine and it works. So the file is ok. The problem is in the version of A.R. of OSX. As far is i know i didn't set any application firewall. Did some of you find the same problem ? Is it solvable in some way ? bye n.

This document can be opened only with Adobe Reader AFAIK. It's a spec. to read the document you HAVE to use that. Preview gives me a blank page with no errors nor complaints. If possilbe i wouldn't install another software, i'll keep your suggestion as last resort. n.
