Thats what we're going to do - get a new router.
It would not be cheaper to pay the hotel's fee's over the course of a
year. I ran the numbers.

My suggestion didn't work. Perhaps the OP could negotiate with the hotel
manager a reduced rate for all on the team. Doesn't hurt to try...
