Mac. I think that one was just a random formatting oddity.

I would hsve said 200cc - water cooled - that's was why they were so
quiet, they said. Known as "whispering death " in my biking days
because people didn't hearw them coming. My '29 350 overhead cam TS
Velo that somebody had tried to make look like a TT was rather more to
the other extreme.

Oh yes - could be right, I was working from memory. Water cooling
helped, so did partial engine enclosure, and so did the *very* effective
silencer. Just a very very quiet pop-pop-pop,: I stood right next to
it, and it was barely audible over the sounds of a festival field full
of happy campers.

(Cropredy, this was - the /civilised/ music festival, with proper loos
and showers and so on)

<grin> MAG did once have a bunch of nutters attached who were
campaigning against further noise reductions for motorcycles with the
slogan `Loud pipes save lives!'

It didn't really get anywhere...

What, *really* 1929? What are the brakes like?

Yers... I expect so... Anyone's ears end up bleeding?

Rowland.
