Glad I could help. If you do decide to make the change and put the player in
a new location, keep in mind that all users will use the same location. This
means you'll save space but you'll have to take on the job of segregating
user data if you store such data locally.

Might be better to leave it as it is then. It is a shame that we can't
download the plugin and save to a file because we could then creat a package
and deploy it over the network without having to download to each machine.
Anyhow, am very grateful for your help. I downloaded to 3 computers and the
exams took place successfully this afternoon so all is well

Sure you can. Use the URL from your Authorware html. Paste it into your
browser window. You can then download the installer ...
