If you choose to run his installer, it's going to replace your hosts file with a modified one from him. If you do that, you will lose access to malwarebytes, bughunter, and a slew of other helpful sites. Not because the sites are bad, but because they've exposed him for the scoundrel he is and it's his way of payback. It's the way he works. For some of us, we get a domain! (Leythos), and others get a short porno flic dedicated to them. Obviously the intent is to inrage and slander anybody he doesn't agree with. Do you feel it's correct in any way for him to be posting a fake porno where he says I star in it? If he's willing to do that, what makes you think *anything* he's claimed we've done has any validity to it whatsoever? > Yet you and your peers have done *nothing* about this as far as I can > tell. Is that the case? Some of us have sent cease and desist letters with varying results. Remove-it was once called Spyerase. Pcbutts claims he sold it (a batch file.. right... heh), and thats why it's been renamed to Remove-It. In the USA, it takes money to have justice served and wrongs righted. Pcbutts knows this. Criminals always have the advantage. As the software he's stealing isn't for profit, it's unrealistic to expect anyone to cough up the immense amount of funds to sue him; just for him to turn around and do it again. And he would, he has each and every time we've caught him for something. Did you check the pcbutts and rot13 search query yet? You should. One version of the original software was marked, pcbutts didn't know about them; arguing with us here for days on how he put them there, but couldn't tell is what they meant. heh, a few days after this, I was permitted to explain what the marker was, and how to read it. :) You really should look this thread up David, your giving the benefit of the doubt to the wrong person. Pcbutts has you for a sucker. -- "Hrrngh! Someday I'm going to hurl this...er...roll this...hrrngh.. nudge this boulder right down a cliff." - Goblin Warrior

If pcbutts were actually an mvp; why would he want your computer to no longer access the sites related? Before you keep calling us fuckwits, you need to do your homework. Jenn doesn't think your a troll, but alot of us are pretty sure you are. Your methods of investigation wouldn't be tolerated in any military setting I know of... so I don't understand why you think they would be here? -- "Hrrngh!
