Panic should take a close look at it to see how to properly write reliable multi-threaded software.

Agent will install and run once installed.

Then I copied the whole "C:\Agent" folder to my Mac machine, who had CrossOver (9.0) already installed (and with Ms Internet Explorer 6.0 also already installed in the same bottle). Then, I ran it under CrossOver (CrossOver->Programs->Run Command) and I selected also "Save Command to Programs Menu". That's all!!!!! The mouse works better in the Mac if you have XQuartz 2.5 already installed too, but it is not mandatory. I don't know if the same procedure work for Agent 6.0, but version 4.X is good enough for me, and far better than any other Newsreader. Thanks Juan I. Cahis Santiago de Chile (South America)

It is many years since I last used it, in fact when I fled from Windows 98 to an eMac running OS X. I always remember it as a wonderful piece of software and the best Newsreader for Usenet ever. So thanks again. |
