From: Diane Poremsky on 3 Jul 2007 09:22 Editing the registry should only be a last resort. A new profile is better because problems like this often indicate other problems with the old profile. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM "Cary Liu" <liukangdi(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:OWukOwSvHHA.3356(a)TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Try this: > > 1. From: Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] on 3 Jul 2007 09:31 The more information we have, the more accurate we can be in trying to solve the problem. Since we have no information, just create a new profile from scratch. Make sure you keep track of the name and location of the PST file(s) you need to use. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Bob Provencher" <bob(a)nospam.org> wrote in message news:KpydnX8b69N-phfbnZ2dnUVZ_qyjnZ2d(a)giganews.com... > Hi. You had all the information I had. Sometimes you have to deduce a problem from forensic evidence. In this case since I see that these types of profile issues are pretty common, I'm not really sure how what led to it is relevant, as the solutions never mention it. Fortunately the other user's suggestions cleaned up the problem.
