ClipName is a lightweight extension to Explorer. FreeCommander is a
multi-purpose software with a bigger footprint.

Hi Patrick,

It's always nice to hear from an author. Thanks for posting about the
ClipName update.

+1

Seems like ClipName could be a good substitute for my
long time favorite "Ninotech Path Copy"
<http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2008/PL2008Category03.php#08>

Ninotech's util seems a tad more flexible than ClipName I think,
since it allows you to create your own copy methods in addition to
those offered by default. But there is no 64-bit version, and it does
not seem to be under development either... At least the old homepage
is gone <http://home.worldonline.dk/ninotech/freeutil.htm>.
Copy of the old site can still be found via the wayback machine
<http://web.archive.org/web/20080704135144/http://home.worldonline.dk/ninotech/freeutil.htm>
and the program can be downloaded via
<http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/Ninotech-Path-Copy.shtml>
which offers this d/l link
