From: spamme0 on 10 Oct 2009 22:07 I need a driver for a Fellowes type n go keyboard model 98084. Fellowes does have a driver site, but I've never found ANY of my garage sale devices listed. This is no exception. Google searches get zillions of hits, but all roads lead to a page where your only option is to download "driver detective". First, I'm NOT loading that thing on my machine. and "B", searching my desktop ain't gonna do nothing to identify a driver for a Palm PDA. Driverguide used to be a place for free drivers, but they've been commercializing the site to the point where you can't get anything without a paid subscription. Yes, they have a limited free option, they just won't send me the email they require me to respond to...Grrrrr!! So, where do we go for free hardware drivers these days?

I had the same lousy experience. I'd picked up a used Lexmark printer in excellent condition and stored it. A lady was putting it out on the sidewalk and I took it away. I recently gave it to my son. I went to Lexmark's web site and found, to my horror, that they'd become too stingy to allow people to download drivers (this service appears to be provided for Lexmark by a third party). Lexmark is happy, however, to sell ink cartridges for the machine. Well, I forgot: turns out that I'd already downloaded all the support files a year ago. Bottom line: hell will freeze before I ever buy a Lexmark product. Richard

It's for a Palm m500 series PDA. It DOES require a driver. It does nothing, nada, zero, zip without a driver.

This is a keyboard for a Palm m500 PDA. This is a keyboard for a Palm m500 PDA. Here's a picture: http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Fellowes%2098084:1990892375# THERE IS NO, ZERO, NONE, NOT ANY USB PORT INVOLVED. This is NOT a laptop, desktop, server or any other kind of PC keyboard. It's a PDA keyboard specifically designed to interface thru the proprietary serial connection on the bottom of a PDA, handheld device. The driver is a .prc file for PalmOS.
