I haven't used that printer, but I do get all sorts of stuff from that
website and have never had a problem with them.

If you are doing any kind of duty loads through them, put a bit of
effort into researching cartridge costs on the machine.

I was looking at 300ish printers for one of our offices, but worked out
that the 600 Xerox Phaser 8560 (iirc)[1] paid for itself in cheaper
consumables within 2 years. Of course this all depends on the amount of
prints you do, but it wasn't a vast quantity.

Note also a lot of the colour printers come with half life cartridges,
and the printers are 200, and a full set of toners & drums [2] can set
back as much as 1000.

[1] If you're anywhere near Edinburgh it might actually be for sale
[2] HPs are usually combined with the toners, but Brothers are seperate,
so watch that stinger.

Not necessarily on colour lasers. Our LJ2820 has separate toners & drum.

<checks status page>
After 2,600 pages (900 mono only), the original drum is saying 43% life
left (nowhere NEAR the 20,000 life quoted), the original black toner is
about to expire, whilst the first set of replacement colour toners reckon
about 60-65% life left (yellow/magenta - 570 pages done) or 55% (cyan -
700 pages done).

For that 2820, a new drum is £140, black toner £60, colours £70 each.
