Could anyone sell or burn a new ROM 901229-05 for 1541 drive?
I have a faulty 1541 drive. When I power up with no computer connection, the red light and the motor just stay on forever. Red light and motor stay on in my old 1541 disk drive
I tried my Commodore 1541 disk drive after it has been in my attic unused for years. The green light and red light and the spindle motor turn on when I power up without the computer connection.
