From: Derk on 15 Nov 2009 10:42 Hi, I try to get that Compiz desktop cube to work, but after trying it for hours and hours without success, I now need some help. Compiz is active and I also activated "cube" and "rotate". In Yast, I see that Radeonhd has been installed. in Sax2 it says "activate 3d acceleration" in light grey text. Sounds like you need to install the proprietary drive and run aticonfig? Other Compiz effects work, but I can't get the desktops on a cube: I just see the usual desktop when I press ALT+CTRL+Left mouse button. These lines suggest the right driver is being used IMHO: OpenGL vendor string: DRI R300 Project OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI R300 (RS690 791E) 20090101 x86/MMX+/3DNow! +/SSE2 NO-TCL I just don't get it why other Compiz effects work, but not that cube. Thanks! Derk
