Energy is a substance of the universe different from aether.
Energy flows through space while time flows over it.
Time flows over the matterial substance of the universe.

A change in state of the aether is energy. Time is a concept. The rate
at which an atomic clock ticks has nothing to do with time. If a
batter operated clock starts to tick slower has time changed or do you
replace the batteries? You replace the batteries because you
understand the change of state which causes the clock to tick slower.
Just because you choose not to understand the rate at which an atomic
clock ticks is determined by the dark matter pressure in which it
exists does not mean time changes. It simply means you fail to
understand what occurs physically in nature to cause the clock to tick
at a different rate.

'DOES THE INERTIA OF A BODY DEPEND UPON ITS ENERGY-CONTENT?'
A. EINSTEIN
http://www.fourmilab.ch/etexts/einstein/E_mc2/e_mc2.pdf

"If a body gives off the energy L in the form of radiation, its mass
diminishes by L/c2."

The mass of the body does diminish, but the matter which no longer
exists as part of the body has not vanished. It still exists, as dark
matter. Matter converts to dark matter. The effect this transition has
on three dimensional space is energy.

Time is flowing through the aether of light and matter as they float
in it.

Dark matter and matter are different states of the same material.

'DOES THE INERTIA OF A BODY DEPEND UPON ITS ENERGY-CONTENT?'
A. EINSTEIN
http://www.fourmilab.ch/etexts/einstein/E_mc2/e_mc2.pdf

"If a body gives off the energy L in the form of radiation, its mass
diminishes by L/c2."

The mass of the body does diminish, but the matter which no longer
exists as part of the body has not vanished. It still exists, as dark
matter. Matter converts to dark matter. The effect this transition has
on three dimensional space is energy.

'Hubble Finds Ghostly Ring of Dark Matter'
http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/hubble/news/dark_matter_ring_feature.html

"Astronomers using NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope got a first-hand view
of how dark matter behaves during a titanic collision between two
galaxy clusters. The wreck created a ripple of dark matter, which is
somewhat similar to a ripple formed in a pond when a rock hits the
water."

Dark matter is displaced by matter. The analogy is the bow wave of a
boat. When two boats collide the wreck creates a ripple of water.

Dark matter displaced by Earth exerts pressure towards Earth.
Pressure exerted by displaced dark matter towards Earth is gravity.
