Go to the list of orders you have made, select the item to return, press 'return this item', go to a page to select why you are returning it (and optionally some text to explain it). Then you get an email with a returns number, and a label to print and put on the box (which is quite amusing when you are returning a printer!) -- Woody

I don't like the way Amazon has gone from a retailer to a 'marketplace' for many items. If I go to Amazon I want to buy from Amazon not end up dealing with an unknown third-party organisation. If anything goes wrong with these third-party purchases, Amazon don't seem interested in getting involved. They're ok for their core products - books, DVDs - but not for much else these days
