Document properties are grayed out
All of a sudden the document properties in my doc are now all grayed out. Anyone know how to remove the gray mass so everything is still visible? I've got Word 7. Thanks! ... 25 Mar 2010 15:03

I am typing up some minutes and I wanted to drop another document with some information into this document. I want to add it as an icon so that if they want to read it they can click on it or pass it by. I am typing minutes and I have a list of questions on another document that I want to add to the minutes but want it to show as an icon so that the person reading it can click it open if they want or not. Word 2007 track changes "final" v. "final showing markup"
When I am working in a document where track changes has been turned on, and I turn off the track changes, the document still opens in "final showing markup" instead of "final." I want the document to open in "final" form. Is there a way to do that? ... 25 Mar 2010 10:19

I have the EXACT same issue. I want the document to default to Final form, and if I want to see the changes, I can hit "final showing markup" or whatever it is called.
