why can't I edit a document I created two days ago with same Word
Started using Windows 7 about two weeks ago. Now I can't edit files I just created within the last week using the Word 2007. Why? ... 23 Mar 2010 14:50

Indent markers
Aren't the right and left indent markers supposed to mirror one another, i.e. both have a moveable top and bottom part? Or am I just plain crazy?! Thanks ... 23 Mar 2010 17:12

What do I do if I can't remember the password for a document?
I recently created a document and password protected it. However, for the life of me I can not remember the password and I really need the info from this document. Does anyone know a way to open this document without the password or to bypass the prtection? ... 23 Mar 2010 13:41

why are captions missing in XRef box - '03 to '07 ver
converted my 2003 doc to 2007 docx... went to insert some cross-references and none of my exhibit (30+) captions are displayed in the cross-reference dialog box... but the captions in the doc are numbered correctly and are also updating in the TOC List of Exhibits... Working with Excel charts in Word
I've copied an Excel chart (ie, one based on an Excel spreadsheet) into Word. It's a bar chart with a lot of white space in the upper half. I cannot resize it to get rid of the white space. Status bar in Word 2007
The Status bar at the bottom of the screen does not always display and when it does, it doesn't update properly (section numbers, etc doesn't display properly). Its an intermittent problem - sometimes it works fine. ... 23 Mar 2010 18:22

Getting a left margin to behave like a header or footer
