Has anyone else had problems with drivers causing the BSOD?

I am referring (but didn't say it) to XP here.

On an older sony vaio laptop. It was either the video or network driver
that I got via Windows Update. This was /years/ ago. I am more
cautious about applying drivers now though.

Interesting. I've never had a problem and I've installed some really
hacked drivers. When PCs started shipping with Vi$ta there was
collusion to force users to take V and like it.

I had to go out and find drivers the best that I could for XP. I still
have problems today finding them, as 7 is out now. We have an
Enterprise license for XP Pro and it has lots of life left in it for
business machines. I'm rather stunned that I've never ran into this as
a matter of fact. I took driver packs that individuals hacked out and
installed them when they worked, or searched further for another
hacked pack.
