Kick drum sounds are dependant on microphone, drum tuning, the beater involved, the player and a whole load of other variables, not least the personal taste of the artist/engineer so it is impossible to put a magic kick sound that will suit everyone in to one little in-line gizmo. You are far better off learning how to get a good kick sound than wasting money on something like this. As a tool to help it might be useful but the advertising is misleading at best. Phildo

That cheap shot about buying this EW mic pad/Eq is just another desperate troll from what must be a really lonely guy. How many times does this guy troll me in a week? However, I do have a small collection of fixed (Proco) and variable (AT) mic attenuators. They can be real problem-solvers when you are close-micing instruments.

It's called humour (or humor for you septics). Arny and Bony are figures of fun on here and get lampooned as a result of their previous posting history where they clearly showed that a) they lacked live sound knowledge and b) were completely unaware of a) and thought they knew everything about live sound. Transplant surgery is coming on in leaps and bounds these days so we can only hope that one day they'll be able to give you a new sense of humour to replace yours which is obviously defective. Maybe then you can get over yourself and become a useful contributor. Phildo |
