thanx jonathon but it isnt letting me into web messenger and ive tried all of
your sugestions aswell and i still cant seem to sign in! thanx anyway m8 but
i think that ill just have to give up on msn because ive tried everything on
all the recomended help sites!

i am also in the exact same position.
i dunno if it helps but i get my net connection over a network (but have
always been able 2 use msn 7.0)

i am also having the same problems 'default gateway offline' and have
tried all of the given methods of solving the problem but have had no
luck, it's driving me crazy now, please help!!

i am getting the same error code too
i hope the support team will come out with solution for this problem.
tried all the method suggested. still end up with the same result.
but amazingly im using the same copy of msn on my desktop and it works.
im currently using a laptop with Avast Anti Virus installed in.
im pretty sure that there is nothing to do with the antivirus stuff.
this is because my desktop are using the same anti virus too.
we are stuck in the middle of nowhere. so please help us out
