Hi.
My problem is that MSN Messenger requires Internet Explorer being able to
connect so it can log in. MSN gives the 80048820 error when IE cannot connect
to internet. So the problem is in the Internet explorer, not in Messenger. I
am connected to internet, my antivirus is shut down, I installed the
Microsoft Antyspyware (then run it) and removed two spywares runing my PC.
Problem is: I open IE, try to enter google.com or any other site, IE says it
can't show the page. Sorry for not writing exactly what it says, im from
mexico using an spanish version of IE. You know, is the page stored in your
system that says the page you're searching is not working or having problems,
or maybe you need to readjust the config of your explorer.

Also, when doing what you said abuot the regsvr32 things you said, it gives
2 errors:

Error de DllRegisterServer en MSXML3.dll.
Devolvio un codigo: 0x80070005

Error de DllRegisterServer en wintrust.dll.
Devolvio un codigo: 0x80070005

But i'm still thinking that if my meesenger is not conecting, it is because
my IE can't even connect to internet. (AND YES!!! I WAS SURE MY CONNECTION
WAS RUNNING! Mozilla firefox connected to everywhere I wanted to.)
