I worked in a large environment with FE/BE along with an ISA, as well as Ironmail for spam and AV control. Pricey Pricey Pricey... As for SBS 2008, not sure... I thought it was in the Premium release? Ace

From: Cliff Galiher on 29 Sep 2009 13:13 You'd need another license for Windows Server and another license for Exchange, and none of the wizards will work, but it *can* be done. FWIW, considering the price of licenses, you'd be better served by looking at EBS if you want to go this route. You get Exchange pre-configured in a back-end and transport role with that product. -Cliff "jdm_222" <jdm222(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:D5AE3877-3B98-4159-8F74-8BDE1FC88AF2(a)microsoft.com... > Hello, > > Is it possible to build an architecture that has an Exchange edge server > in > a DMZ that communicates with the Exchange server on SBS 2008?
