From: Robert Li [MSFT] on 24 May 2007 07:23 Hi, Thanks for updating. I researched your reply. The pub1.edb is clean shut down. But it seems to be corrupt. Please take the following steps: 1. Perform reparation for public store and then check if it will be successfully. Running eseutil /p on the public store. Hope the information helps. I am looking forward to hear from you. If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know. From: Robert Li [MSFT] on 25 May 2007 06:28 Hi Jacqures, Thank for your reply. I am glad to know you can view the system folder. Please let me know the following: 1. Do all users or just Atlantic Meeco Administrator has the problem? 2. On the new computer, did you connect to Exchange with the same account Atlantic Meeco Administrator? If all user have this problem, the problem is caused by Server side, please help me collect MPS Report and IIS metabase for further research. If only Atlantic Meeco Administrator has problem, please take the following step: 1. Please run the following commands to open Outlook and try again: outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy outlook.exe /cleanviews Outlook.exe /safe. Step 2: Please try the following steps to completely remove Outlook 2003, although you have made an uninstallation, some information may not be completely removed. 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. Click the Install/Uninstall tab, click Microsoft Office 2003, and then click Change. 3. From the Microsoft Office 2003 Maintenance Mode dialog box, click "Add or Remove Features". 4. Click the Microsoft Outlook for Windows, and click the Not Available, and then click Update Now. 5. Click start->find files or folders, find these files and delete or rename them. MAPI*.dll MAPI*.exe MAPI*.ini MAPI*.inf OUTL*.dll OUTEX.DLL OUTL*.exe OUTL*.ini EMS*.* 6. Click start->find files or folders, find these files and delete the following files: Extend.dat Outcmd.dat Frmcache.dat Views.dat 7. Click Start menu-> Run, type "%Temp%" (without the quotation marks) in the Open box and press Enter. Empty the %Temp% folder. Note: If some files can't be deleted, please skip them, which doesn't influence the result of the troubleshooting. 8. Reinstall Office 2003. Test if the problem occurs. Step 3: Create a new profile for Outlook, will the same issue occur? For more information, please refer to How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918 I am looking forward to hear from you. If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
