Hi Jacques, Thank for updating. I researched the MPS Report you sent to me and found MSExchangeIS Event ID:1160 and 1107. Please take the following steps: Step 1: Please make a clean boot on Exchange server to make sure the problem is not caused by some third party software. 1. Click Start->Run...->type msconfig and press Enter. 2. Click Services tab and select Hide All Microsoft Services and Disable All third party Services. 3. Click Startup tab and Disable All startup items. 4. Click OK and choose Restart. 5. After reboot, check whether the problem still occurs. 6. If there are no more problems, please use the above steps to enable services and startup items one by one in order to figure out the root cause of this issue Step 2: If you have Sybari Antigen installed, please temperialy uninstall it and delete the Sybari Software installation folder. Then check again. Step 3: Please rerun the following command to see if there is no new error on Exchange database. 1. Run eseutil /d for the first mailbox store after dismounting it. C:\Program Files\exchsrvr\BIN>isinteg -s (servername) -fix -test alltests Step 4: Modify msExchESEParamMaxCursors on the affected storage group (in ADSIedit) to 52800 and let's see if the error continues. You should restart the IS after making this change. 1. Use ADSI Edit to browse to Configuration -> Services -> Microsoft Exchange -> <your Exchange organization> -> Administrative Groups -> First Administrative Group 2. Right click First Administrative Group and select properties. 3. On the Attribute Editor tab. 4. Go to msExchESEParamMaxCursors and the value should be, "not set" 5. Change the setting to 52800 6. Restart IS 7. Monitor for errors. You can download ADSIEDIT tool from the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=6EC50B78-8BE1-4E81- B3BE-4E7AC4F0912D&displaylang=en More information: Adsiedit Overview http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/library/ebca3324-5427-471a-bc 19-9aa1decd3d401033.mspx?mfr=true I researched the backup log and Event ID: 217, please install the following hotfix. Step 1: Install the hotfix KB 889528 You cannot successfully perform an online backup of the information ID: 217 is logged http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;889528 Step 2: Please install the latest VSS hotfixes.
