From: Edhy Rijo on 21 Apr 2010 16:09 Hi guys, I have a SBS2003 working fine and I upgraded some workstations to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. When opening the "Windows Fax and Scan" program I created a "Fax Account" to my SBS2003 server and it shows a "Connected" status. When receiving faxes the following actions happens: 1.. I can see the fax transmission process in the Incoming folder. 2.. After received, briefly see the fax in the Inbox, but after a second it will disappear. 3.. When sending faxes, I can sent OK and after sent I can see the fax in the "Sent Items" folder. On the Windows XP workstations connected to the same SBS2003 I can see all the faxes in the "Inbox" folder. What may be happening? Thanks! -- Edhy Rijo Bronx NY

Hello Edhy, Thanks for your post. All incoming faxes are saved in archive folder. This location can be found as: Value of registry key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fax\Inbox, then find "Folder" item. Please go to the physical disk location and check whether the incoming faxes are stored there or not. If not, they may be deleted somehow by other software. BTW, please check if you have Blackberry desktop manager software installed on the problematic client. If there is please temporarily disable or uninstall it for test purpose. If possible, you may also run a Clean Boot on the problematic Windows 7 client and then recheck the issue.
