All my icons look the same (except IE8 and the recycle bin) i cant open any windows...when i click on them the open with window pops up and wants me to pick wat i want to open it with...i can only get on the internet in safe mode with networking. and when i try to open...for example paint it says invalid bitmap, or its format is not currently supported and other windows... 5 Jun 2010 16:56
Windows can not boot due to missing MSVCP60.DLL File. Hi mate, I had same prob...[Here's what i did] I went to another computer downloaded msvcp60.dll onto a disk then booted the faulty computer in xp repair mode with the xp disk. Scroll wheel not working in Word 7 I have Word for Windows 95 version 7.0. I am using it on my current XP Home SP3 system, and it works fine, except that the mouse scroll wheel doesn't work in Word. XP Shut down or restart Thought I was having a start up problem, but it might be something other. Any help will be appreciated. Older system with Asus MB shows Asus startup splash screen (which it always did on startup). Ctrl/Alt/Delete is non op. Pressing the restart button results in spash screen again. Trouble installing new hard drive I'm trying to install a new hard drive. Setting it up as a slave to my current "C" drive. I connect the power cable and the 25 pin data cable.
