PC start-up problem I have windows XP SP3 on my PC that recently often does not start up until after trying 4-5 times. It usually crashes at varies positions during the start up procedure. Standby Option Fails Using a Dell Inspiron 8200 with Windows XP SP3 when I put the computer into Standby mode, Windows seems to be shutting down, but as soon as the screen goes black, it lights up again and windows resumes. No taskbar or desktop icons The SAME thing happened to me, except I haven't seen my taskbar come up at all. Nothing is working for me, and I don't even have the virus explorer.exe. selectively block some programs from accessing the internet Some of my programs are accessing the internet and i would like to block them from access. XP Active Desktop I can list a web page in desktop Items properties, but when I check the web page and click OK, nothing happens. My original wallpaper is still there.
