Hello serge, Thanks for your post. By default, on SBS 2003 server, there is only switch for Out of Office(OOF) that enable or disable this feature. SBS server will not control individual Out of Office behavior. So, let's first focus on the problematic user account first. Start Outlook with the /cleanrules switch, then re-setup the OOF and see if it works. However, before you do that, remember to export your inbox rules via the Export Rules button found within the Options section of the main Rules and Alerts window. If the issue still occur, please refer to the following articles to reconfigure and troubleshoot this abnormal OOF issue: How to use the Out of Office Assistant in Outlook http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290846/en-us Troubleshoot the Out of Office Assistant http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP052422351033.aspx?pid=CH063564691033 Create a rule to have Exchange Server send an automatic reply: Have Exchange Server send custom reply messages http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA010347871033.aspx More information for your reference: How to troubleshoot a non-functioning Out of Office message using various tools and techniques including MFCMAPI and MDBVUE32. http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/tools/troubleshooting-out-of-office.html NOTE: The third party contact information included in this article is provided to help you find the technical support you need.
