Mike, I do not have a Dock icon associated with the ML-2240 printer. That's what I thought the Samsung Smart Panel would be. All it does is install a lame icon on the menu bar that does nothing. I would like to have have print queue dock icon

Select your printer on the left, then click on Open Print Queue on the right. 3. The icon will then appear on the Dock. Opt to keep it in the Dock and you'll be set. -- My latest dance performance <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_9pudbFisE> Mac and geek T-shirts & gifts <http://designsbymike.net/shop/mac.cgi> Prius shirts/bumper stickers <http://designsbymike.net/shop/prius.cgi>

The printer and scanner software is included with Snow Leopard and you no longer use the company's drivers: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669#samsung -- m-m http://www.mhmyers.com

The Software > Updater says I am up to date If you installed 10.6, you have it. Scanner software is incorporated into Preview-> Import from Scanner, for one. Scroll to the top of the Apple support page mentioned above and it will explain in detail. You can delete any software from Samsung. It won't work with 10.6 and that is good. -- m-m http://www.mhmyers.com
