Would you kindly like to assist me? Thanks.. Keep trying. It works for me whether I create the disk from the SS prefs or from the OSX Disk Utility. If done thru the SS prefs I have to erase it to initialize first. -- m-m http://www.mhmyers.com

More often than not, I get one of several errors during file copies and so on. -- Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me. You should quit sheep shaver before adding any drives with the preferences utility. With regards to the unix disk drive, it isn't a foolproof way to exchange files. (For instance, files with classic resource forks may not copy properly to the emulated MacOS because it thinks it is copying from a Unix system without rousrouce forks. (you can zip the file or other method to package it then copy it to the MacOS and unpack it at which point resource forks will be created properly.
From: JF Mezei on 21 Feb 2010 19:43 BTW, make backup copies of the MacOS disk image files from OS-X after you exit from SheepShaver. I have found the MacOS disks to easily corrupt. And don't ever mount them on OSX (double clicking on them) while sheep shaver is running, high risks of the disk becoming corrupt.

Would you kindly like to assist me? Thanks.. It's been so long that I no longer recall, but I know that I did exactly what the documentation said to do.
