I believe it was during the 2000 election when the media chose the
color. They were all using different colors before then.

OK, back in 2000 I was working 14 to 16 hour days and wasn't keeping
up with the machinations of the politicians or media.

However, now that I have retired (and am only working six to eight
hours a day!) I have more time available to watch the LIEberal media
protect the Liberal politicians.

Guess they were doing that back in '00 when they "Red Shifted" the
Democrats to "blue."

instead of report.
